Web Designer
Oscura require an experienced website designer to work on both new and existing client websites. The successful applicant will have skills to complete a full website build from the concept stage to build, test and delivery. The applicant, who will become Oscura's primary website designer, will work with existing Oscura technical developers to complete a range of e-commerce and fully functional websites.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Ability to create engaging website design based on customer requirements
- Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Flash and ActionScript 2
- Ability to build standards compliant HTML and CSS websites using hand coding methods
- Knowledge of a wide range of web browsers and web development tools
- Understanding of web development languages (Javascript/PHP/ASP)
- Excellent PC Skills (including Microsoft operating systems and office software)
- Excellent communication skills
The following skills would be an advantage:
- Web programming development experience (Javascript/ASP/PHP)
- Knowledge of Web Servers (IIS/Apache)
- Database Servers (Microsoft SQL/MySQL)
- Windows Application Development (VB.NET)
- Knowledge of a range of E-Mail Clients
- Previous experience of Linux operating systems
Working hours and benefits:
- 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Salary of £25K-£30K, depending on experience
